What To Do If My Game Doesn’t Make It? 🤔

If your game did not make it through the Web Fit Test, that’s not the end of your game’s journey on Poki. Neither is it a signal from Poki that your game is not good. What it does mean is that your game needs some more work in order to be a fit for the platform.

It’s good to note that your game must pass the Web Fit Test in order to be considered for the Final Poki Review.

How to improve CTR?

If your game did not score high enough on this metric, it might be helpful to go back and review your game’s thumbnail. Check out our Game Thumbnail best practices!

How to improve Average Playtime?

If players are not engaging with your game long enough, revisit the Playtesting and Player Fit Test stages to work on increasing playtime.

How to improve Conversion to Play?

Raising your game’s Conversion to Play is all about getting your players into gameplay as quickly as possible. Shortening loading times, decreasing file sizes and making your onboarding short and snappy are key.

Iteration is key!

Our main advice if your game did not pass the Web Fit Test yet would be to continue iterating. Have a look at what metrics your game could be improved on and check the linked guides on how they can be improved. More playtests and Player Fit Tests are always freely available to help you out in the iterating process.
